Out of Town Bridesmaid Gift

What do you do when your out of town bridesmaid can’t attend a party?

YOU SEND THE PARTY TO HER!

I sent a package to Veronica so she & her family can celebrate while we have our shower/housewarming party tomorrow night:

  • Bridal Shower Word Scramble

  • Secret Key to the Word Scramble

  • Party Favors

  • Snack Cakes

  • Drink Mix

  • Plates & Napkins

Will You Be My Bridesmaid/MOH/Attendent/Usher??

I have been meaning to blog about this for a long time but I had to wait until everyone received their package and then I guess I kind of forgot about it. Other brides have posted on forums asking how other people asked people to be in their wedding and it reminded me that I have not shared my photos and stuff online yet.

For the girls I made a CD Jewel Case Calendar. I found photos and quotes online and did a layout in CorelDraw.

My First Custom Designed Invitation Customer!

I could make wedding invitations all day long! Here are some invitations I recently made for our friends, Aaron & Karen. Aren’t they fun?! And yes, I totally used my beautiful ring as a prop to show the 3-D name
banner. :-) It’s really hard to get nice photos that do them full justice.

Since I’m not much of a photographer, I’ve contacted my friend Angie about helping me get some nicer photos. She does great work and I thought I’d help her put her new fancy camera to work. :-)

Texas Sent its Finest

My longtime friend/pen-pal and now bridesmaid Veronica came all the way from Texas with her sister, Jessica, and two boys, Jason (soon to be 10 years old)& Joe Joe (soon to be 8 years old), to visit and help with wedding plans. We made lots of centerpieces, drove by some of the upcoming wedding sites, and tried on our dresses and shoes. Andy was nice enough to setup every game system known to man to help entertain the boys while us girls watched movies and had a chance to visit and catch up.

Over the course of three days we got to visit with Josh & Rachel, who stayed over Saturday night, we took the kids to Jungle Bungle one afternoon, walked around Northpark Mall (per Jason’s request!), did a little engraving, and Veronica and I even tried our luck at the Isle of Capri. Turns out we weren’t so lucky that day. :-)

The few days flew by but I think we made the most of it. We’re looking
forward to seeing the whole family (hopefully) in November for the wedding.

New Face Added!

My apologies for the delay on some of the photos of the wedding party. My
sister will rarely let her photo be taken but I have managed to scan in a
picture of Veronica, my bridesmaid that lives in Texas. So feel free to visit
our Wedding Party Page to see her beautiful smiling face! :)
