Check, check and check…
Crossing things off my list, one by one:
- Met with our Officiant, Pastor Gary Ellis
- Ordered over 2,000 wooden roses for centerpieces & other decorations (yes, I said over two thousand!)
- Booked a DJ from Sas Entertainment
- Selected the Bridesmaid dresses (they will be black)
- Secured a block of rooms for overnight guests at the Radisson in Moline
- Laser cut over 300 pieces for the invitations, to be assembled later
- Booked Peg, from Exceptional Events as our day of Wedding Coordinator
Save the Date Cards on the Way!
I played around this weekend and came up with a few designs for our Save the Date postcards. Andy surprised me by choosing the crazy-colored design over the simple, more contemporary style. (He felt they were “too plain,” which is fine by me because if you recall, I love color!) I uploaded the design to my favorite online printer and am now anxiously awaiting their delivery, which should be late this week or first part of next week. Yay!
