The Post Wedding Cut

Well, after nearly two and a half years growing it out, I chopped it all off! (Sorry Andy…I know you’ve got a thing for long hair but, it’s too much work and really…it’s just not me. What’s the point if all I do is pull it back in a ponytail everyday?)

I didn’t tell a soul, except my stylist who knew I’d be in sooner than later. :-) I made the appointment and went over my lunch hour last week. When I came home I snuck in the house while Andy was on the phone and somewhat to my surprise, he gave me the thumbs up! He said it was a bit short (and it is, especially in the back) but he thought this style suited me more. I agree.

What do you think?

    I love it!

I was totally wondering if you got it chopped when I saw you on Saturday but since it was really the first time we had met IRL, I thought I may come across as a stalker if I noticed. =)

    It’s very cute!

Too funny! That’s one reason I was cautious in approaching you. I thought maybe you wouldn’t recognize me at first. Plus, I wanted to be sure you were who I thought you were. It would be really weird if some random blogstalker ran up and hugged you…even moreso if it wasn’t you. LOL :-)

LOL – yeah, I’m a hugger. Hopefully that didn’t wierd you out. =)

    Laura,

Absolutely love the haircut! That cut does fit you more…it must be something that all of girls want to do after our weddings and cut our hair and our men to always seem to hate it! I cut mine off after our wedding in ‘97 as well and now have been “attempting” to grow and re-grow it back out again for Dave however I find myself cutting it off time and time again. You’re right by saying it is so much easier to take care of when it is short. Especially with me being a full time nursing student, full time mom and full time wife I need to gain any extra moments that I can! We’ll see how far I get this time without hopefully having that increasing urge to cut it off again! I don’t think Dave would be too happy with me again if I did. :)
