I LOVE this guy!
We needed a shed for the new house. Partly because we want to give the dogs a scaled down (but still awesome) version of the old Puppy Palace. Mostly because we only have one 2-car garage and need the extra storage space. We found a decent shed for sale and brought it home. Andy was going to get a forklift to put it in place in the backyard. Our conversation went a bit like this:
Me: So, did you find a fork lift?
Andy: Nope.
Me: Okay. How are you going to get the shed off the trailer?
Andy: I dunno. I’ll figure it out.
Me: Is anyone coming over to help you?
Andy: Nope. I’ll get it by myself.
Me: Okay….how exactly do you plan to do that?
Andy: Don’t worry, I’ll figure it out.
Me: Okay….
~ A little later ~
Me: So did you come up with a plan?
Andy: Yep. I’m gonna put some stakes in the ground here, put some straps there, pull the Jeep ahead and it will fall into place. The straps are going to pull the shed off the trailer and the stakes will keep it from falling over into the fence.
Me: Are you serious?
Andy: Uh-huh.
Me: That’s not going to work.
Andy: Yes it will.
Me: No way. Then what if it falls into the fence?
Andy: It won’t. But if it does I’ll fix it.
Me: Um, okay. I don’t know about this.
Andy: I think you should take a picture. This is blogworthy.
Me: You bet it is…let me go grab my camera.

Not only did I take a photo, I took a video!! I thought we might make it onto Most Funniest Home Videos or something once the shed slid off the trailer and into the fence….you may not believe what happened next but I’ll let you see for yourself. If you listen closely you’ll here Putter…I think he was nervous too!

You just can’t take the farm out of the boy!!!!
Ha ha! Typical Andy move! Good work!!
Holy moley – I didn’t think that was going to work out.
It’s almost like he knows what he’s doing. =)
